Stayed in the quadruple family room with my three young children. Perfect for what we needed and didn't feel cramped. Host was very helpful, polite, attentive and just brilliant! Lovely stay will definitely be staying again.

Lovely Guesthouse - Rating 5/5

This is a lovely guest house. Beautifully clean, comfortable and with everything you need or might want. I had the buffet breakfast which had good range/choice. Attractive pictures and items give a seaside feel and it is ideally located for Porth beach. I would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed our stay- Rating 5/5

Stayed in the garden family cabin, nice and cosy, with a modern twist and everything you could need. Garden is lovely and hosts are friendly and work hard, they are obviously proud of their business and as long as you respect their property you'll find that you will get the same respect back. The family have dogs but they seem to manage this well and keep them out of the way.Breakfast served was lovely.Good location to explore some of the local beaches, Spar convenience shop 10 minute walk away.Only possible feedback would be that we have slept on more comfortable mattresses, but feel I am being picky here. If in the area again we would look to return :)

Facebook recommendation review - Rating 5/5

We were greeted by the lovely Karen who made us feel so welcomed and comfortable as soon as we arrived,we stayed in one of the family cabins out the back, which her talented son James had built, very impressive. the place was spacious, spotless and ideal for what we needed.. the b and b is situated 10 min walk into town or 5 mins to the nearest beach.. perfect ????the continental breakfast that was included with the price was also lovely, lots to choose from and again karen always greeted us with a smile in the morning.son James was also very friendly and hands on with helping out around the home also very knowledgeable about the area. can't wait to come back and visit.highly recommend this amazing bed and breakfast ????

4 nite stay... - Rating 4/5

Pleasant stay. Room & onsuite nice.Bed uncomfortable until the topper was put on. Front bedroom, bit noisey with traffic, bus stop & pedestrian crossing outside. Brekkie nice.

Response

Thanks Clive. As explained, that is a new, expensive mattress but, as mattress preference is a personal thing, we can't get it right for everyone. We are on a main road, which is stated on our listings.

Ok - Rating 4/5

Karen, the owner, was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room was spotless, and the garden outside was lovely. Location was excellent, with bus services nearby and walking distance to multiple beaches. The only issues were accessibility - the entrance is step-free but so small you can't fit a pram in. The cooked breakfast was extremely expensive, so we only had it on one of the days. Having already paid a considerable fee for the accommodation, it just didn't seem worth it. The continental breakfast (which was included) was fine, most items were from Aldi so not the best quality, but lots of options. We unfortunately had a rather unpleasant encounter with the owner's son (I believe that's who he was), and for that reason we will not be returning.

Response

Thanks Stephanie. Glad you mostly had an enjoyable stay. In regards to the side gate, it is a standard size gate. You had a very large pram, which could have been folded. Cooked breakfasts are charged to reduce waste and at Β£8 is hardly extortionate compared to other places. I can only apologise for the incident with my son, but it is our property and your child should have been supervised by the pond. The stones could have damaged or stressed our fish. Best wishes.
